Cancellation policies
Our workshops are popular and many workshops have a waiting list. Late-notice cancellations or transfers may prevent someone from the waiting list being able to accept a place.
Public workshops
There are no refunds for cancellations.
If you book on a workshop and then can’t attend:
-
you are welcome to send another person in your place for no extra charge, or
-
you can transfer to the same workshop on a different date. You will be charged the following transfer fees:
- 20 percent of the workshop fee if you transfer 7 days or more
before the workshop on which you were booked
- 50 percent of the workshop fee if you transfer within 7 days of the
workshop.
In-house and customised workshops
If you confirm an in-house or customised workshop booking and then cancel it, you will be charged the following fees:
We invoice in-house bookings 2 days before the training for the number of participants on the most current roll. If some of your participants cannot attend at the last minute, you are welcome to send substitutes.
Other training or document services
Either you or we may terminate the engagement on 1 month’s notice to the other party. You will be liable for any services up to the date of termination.
Does Write ever cancel workshops?
Yes, occasionally we have had to cancel or postpone a workshop. If this happens, you will have the opportunity to transfer to another workshop or receive a full refund of the fee you have paid.
